FIM hires president and chief strategy officer from within; PubSub CEO departs; Optiem hires three.
Fox Interactive Media (FIM) promoted two top execs from the ranks of its recent acquisitions. Mark Jung, CEO of its IGN subsidiary, was named president of FIM, and Scout.com founder and CEO Jim Heckman was named chief strategy officer. Both men will relinquish their previous roles.
PubSub’s long-time CEO Salim Ismail has left the company. He’s replaced by Constantine Gus Spathis. The disembarkation was amicable and long-planned, Ismail said.
Interactive agency Optiem hired Ben Bykowski, Robin Wieland and Adam Polanski to developer and account management roles. Bykowski joins as a senior interactive developer, Wieland as a senior account manager, and Polanski as an interactive developer.
SmartSearch Marketing hired David Temple as director of sales. He was CEO of Global Education Marketing and a search marketing consultant to FindLaw.com.
Crain Communications tapped Clickshare to manage its online subscription processing and control access to its Web sites. Clickshare’s services combine visitor authentication and commerce services.
Web-to-print technology company Pageflex added Brandspring Solutions as a client. Brandspring will use the company’s Storefront product to support its brand marketing applications.
