Modem Media makes creative hire; Horizon Interactive promotes four; Carton Donofrio hires direct marketing brain.
Modem Media tapped Chip Reingold, previously executive creative director at Modem Media Europe, to be ECD of Modem Media West. Filling the vacancy is Chris Clarke, who joins from U.K. digital agency Wheel.
Horizon Interactive made four promotions and a hire. The agency promoted Wendi Dunlap to account group supervisor, Hope Distant to media group supervisor, Michael Hammill to campaign management supervisor, and Kerry Perse to DRM supervisor. Jeffrey Klein joins as interactive group coordinator.
Carton Donofrio Partners hired Peter Toth as managing director of direct marketing. Toth was most recently SVP of direct marketing at Eisner Communications.
Adknowledge named Henry Feinberg and Will Griffith to its board. Both men are partners at Technology Crossover Ventures, which today announced an investment in the behavioral targeting ad network.
AOL named Alvin Bowles to lead sales development efforts for its AOL Black Voices portal. He was previously VP of divisional partnerships in Time Warner’s global marketing group.
ContextWeb hired Richard Sheldon as chief financial officer. Sheldon’s prior experience includes finance and business development roles at GE Capital, Concrete Inc. and McKinsey & Company.
MileOne Automotive is using video spokespeople from Rovion to promote its services. The site deployment launched February 7.
