Google CPG head joins DRIVE PM; The Point Group hires a VP of customer retention; Tacoda names a VP of account management.
Gary Savoy, who led the consumer packaged goods vertical for Google, has joined aQuantive’s DRIVE PM as director of the East Coast region. Savoy held senior posts with Community Connect, Worth Interactive and Go2Net.
Integrated agency The Point Group hired Mary Henslee as VP of customer retention and loyalty. Henslee spent 11 years at American Airlines and helped create its frequent flyer program. She also worked for Mary Kay and was VP of strategy with Brierley & Partners, a customer loyalty and direct marketing firm.
Tacoda hired Sharon Smith as director of account management. Smith most recently worked for icrossing as director of sales and marketing. Earlier she was VP of account management for 24/7 Real Media. She’ll be based in Tacoda’s Fort Washington, Pennsylvania office.
MediaSpan Group hired Tony Formichelli as senior VP of sales for its online services division, a new position. Formichelli has led sales at New York talk radio station WOR-AM since 1999.
CentrPort hired Mark Loucks as VP of client services. Loucks was VP of business intelligence and data mining at marketing consultancy Rodgers Townsend.
