Yahoo recruits Vince Broady; AOL names Clarizio to head Ad.com; Speedo awards digital marketing account to Media Catalyst.

Yahoo hired Vince Broady to oversee its games, entertainment and youth properties. Broady spent six years with CNET, most recently as SVP of entertainment.

AOL named Lynda Clarizio president of Advertising.com. She was most recently EVP of AOL’s audience business, and the company described her as a driving force behind its acquisition of Advertising.com two years ago. Additionally, Alan Citron becomes general manager of AOL’s TMZ.com. He was SVP of marketing at Movielink and founding president of Ticketmaster Online.

Speedo awarded its strategic digital marketing account to Media Catalyst. The agency beat out two London interactive shops to win the business.

Johnnie Walker handed some digital marketing duties to AKQA. The agency’s work for the client will include site design and online advertising targeting 25- to 34-year-old men

Epsilon Interactive hired Eric Presbrey as SVP of sales. He was most recently VP of sales for Digital Connexxions Corporation.

Postini named Venu Sathiraju to lead its new sales office in Tokyo. Sathiraju, whose title is regional director for Asia Pacific, was business development director at Netscape.

Critical Path hired Ray Coyte as VP of Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, and promoted Robert Zuber to chief mobile strategist. Coyte was managing director and VP of Northern Europe at Comverse.

Andreas Roell, president and CEO of Geary Interactive, was anointed president of the San Diego Advertising Club. He was previously VP and president-elect of the group.

Jabber hired Dave Uhlir as VP of marketing. He was most recently in product marketing at Sun Microsystems.
