Blue Lithium hires two, opens office; Kanoodle names a CFO; Bratton joins Zedo board.
BlueLithium hired Tim Mahlman as chief revenue officer and Kit Simon as VP of Midwest sales. Additionally, Bob Cohn was named to the company’s board.
Mahlman was SVP of sales at Winstar Interactive, an online ad representation firm. Simon, who will head a new office in Chicago, was previously director of sales for Claria. Earlier, she held sales leadership posts at Excite@Home. Cohn was chairman and CEO of Octel Communications.
Kanoodle hired Kenneth Hall as chief financial officer. Hall was most recently EVP and CFO at Mercator Software, before which he held similar posts at Icon CMT, Systemax and National Football League Properties.
Susan Bratton joined the board at Zedo, an ad management player. Bratton is the CEO of Cendara and the chair of the Ad:Tech conference series.
PointRoll hired several junior and mid-level staffers in account services and design. They include campaign manager Cristina Roig; designer Jessica Hondolero; and account manager Carla Lehmann.
Ripple Effects Interactive launched a site for the United Way to help caregivers boost children’s learning abilities. The site is part of an integrated media campaign developed in partnership with the Ad Council. The media plan includes television, radio, print and Web communications. The site resides at bornlearning.org.
