Stein Rogan + Partners hires two; Zedo signs publishers to use new takeover ad format; Mirror Image signs Flashtalking.
Stein Rogan + Partners hired Matt Parker as associate creative director and Jason Abbate as senior VP of operations and interactive services. Both are returning employees.
Parker spent three years as associate creative director at Digitas, where his accounts included Best Buy, American Express, AOL and the NBA. During his earlier stint with Stein Rogan, he spent five years as senior copywriter.
Abbate was most recently director of project management and search marketing at Insight Interactive. He rejoins Stein Rogan as senior VP of operations and interactive services. Abbate replaces Jin Kim, former SVP of operations, who heads to Los Angeles to open Stein Rogan’s first West Coast office.
Some publishers have signed on to use Zedo’s new full-page ad format. CNET, iwin.com and III-Interactive will offer the 10-second takeover unit, claims to circumvent cookie blocking technologies that may prevent other similar units from functioning as intended.
Flashtalking chose Mirror Image’s global content caching solution to deliver high-volume ad campaigns for its clients.
