Carat Fusion launches adidas site, staffs up in business development; AKQA wins McDonald's digital work; MyFamily taps Epsilon for e-mail

Carat Fusion created a Web site for adidas that showcases the client’s shoes and apparel. Visitors select male or female options to access tailored content. The site contains video of runners shot for the Web. A “training” section includes a articles on training, nutrition, competition and injury prevention. The agency also hired Stephen Berner and promoted Andrew Kennedy into key business development posts.

McDonald’s has handed its global interactive marketing account to AKQA. The agency will work with the fast food chain’s regional digital agencies.

MyFamily.com tapped Epsilon to provide e-mail marketing support under a multi-year agreement. The client provides online networking tools for families, and also owns Ancestry.com and Ancestry.co.uk.

Marie DeParis joined FOX Television’s myfoxny.com and my9newyork.com as strategic marketing and internet sales manager. She was most recently SVP of strategic marketing and sales for The New York Daily News

VitalStream will provide streaming media services to Prodigy MSN, a joint venture between Microsoft Mexico and Telmex. Prodigy MSN provides Latin American customers with e-mail, IM and blogging services.

ValueClick signed ad representation deals with several sites. They include 10Best, Encyclopedia Britannica, Merriam Webster, Starpulse and RealGM.

ChaCha.com tapped Accipiter for online ad management. The client is a search engine with an optional “human guide” capability.
