Avenue A|Razorfish promotes Kokich; Disney Online gets a new VP of ad sales; Cavoli to build Bluestreak's SEM practice.
Avenue A | Razorfish promoted Clark Kokich to worldwide president. Kokich was president of Avenue A’s Seattle and Chicago offices prior to the agency’s acquisition of SBI.Razorfish in 2004. After the merger he guided all Western regional sales for the combined entity.
Disney Online hired Brad Davis as VP of online ad sales. Davis was director of sales at Comcast Spotlight, the cable giant’s ad sales division. Earlier, he held several management roles over the course of a decade with AOL.
Bluestreak hired Brian Cavoli to lead its SEM practice as senior director of strategic marketing services. Cavoli built up the search marketing unit at MPG Media Contacts, whose clients include Vonage, Fidelity Investments and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Earlier he was interactive media director with Carat.
Toronto alt weekly NOW Magazine will use WebTrends On Demand to provide advertisers’ with data on its site visitors’ characteristics. NOW will use the platform’s segmentation and geotargeting tools to identify reader interests “down to the postal code level,” the companies said.
inQ, a Web marketing company with live chat technology, hired three to its management team. Donna Cohen joins as VP of client services, Rick Hoefert as VP of e-commerce operations, and James Parker as VP of sales.
