Female-focused ad network Glam Media has appointed Rachel Wintner as vice president of sales. Joining from Condé Nast, Wintner will oversee sales for the Southwest region, and head up a new Los Angeles office.
Digital performance media outfit MediaTrust has appointed former Microsoft exec, David Coburn, as head of product. Coburn’s responsibilities will include implementing best practices for Web services and platform development. He will be based in MediaTrust’s Santa Barbara office.
Mindshare North America has been awarded media planning, implementation, and digital responsibilities for Skyy Spirits.The agency will work with Skyy Spirits’ group-owned portfolio, including SKYY Vodka, Wild Turkey Bourbon, X-Rated Fusion Liqueur, Cabo Wabo Tequila, and Campari.
Social data-driven marketing firm Lotame has announced the appointment of Eric Porres as chief marketing officer.Porres has previously held management positions at AOL Time Warner and Agency.com.
LA-based new media content studio Vuguru has named Larry Tanz as its president. Previously, Tanz served as president of Agility Studios, which develops, finances, and produces entertainment-oriented digital franchises.
The Dallas Cowboys have launched a Facebook Fan Page to better engage with fans across the social Web. The launch forms part of a wider digital strategy that includes an iPhone app and Twitter activity from the team and coaching staff.
