Nott to Leave .FOX; Woot! Gets Playboy Action; AdLink Loses Managing Director
Phil Nott is to leave his position as U.K. general manager of .FOX Networks. The News-Corp owned ad network .FOX officially launched in the U.K. earlier this year, and acquired a stake in video network Utarget in April.
Playboy has appointed Woot!media to handle its online ad sales, and is reportedly attempting to reposition itself as a lifestyle brand. Woot! will handle exclusive sales across the Playboy site, including standard display and sponsorship opportunities.
Nicky Iapino, AdLink’s U.K. managing director, will leave the affiliate ad network at the end of the year. A replacement has not yet been appointed.
Cossette Communication Group announced the appointment of Gregor Angus as COO of its U.K. operations. Angus will be tasked with overseeing the groups existing operations, which will include heading digital agencies such as Dare Digital, as well as implementing strategies for the future of the group.
