iCrossing promotes Mayfield; ExactTarget launches in London; Bauer's Edwards finds Future.

Digital agency iCrossing has appointed Antony Mayfield to SVP of social media. Promoted from the role of head of social media in the U.K., Mayfield will now be responsible for the firm’s social media practice worldwide. In addition, Brian Haven has been appointed VP, strategy; he was previously an analyst at Forrester Research.

E-mail marketing provider ExactTarget has announced the launch of a U.K. operation. Following its acquisition of U.K.-based outfit Keymail Marketing, ExactTarget will use the new office as headquarters for all of its operations outside of North America to better service its international clients as well as attract more business from within the U.K. and Europe. Peter McCormick, one of ExactTarget’s co-founders, will lead the London-based operation as general manager of the global business. As a result of the Keymail acquisition, the firm adds a range of clients to its portfolio including Reed Exhibitions, Aurora Fashions, Aegon, Value Retail, British Standards Institute, and Gulf Air.

Future Publishing has appointed Kurt Edwards to the role of digital commercial director. Edwards hails from Bauer Media where he headed digital sales. He will begin at Future in December, reporting to COO Simon Wear.
