eMarketer also predicts that Microsoft will grow as its net worldwide avenues expands by over a fifth this year to reach $3.5bn. Google leads with 31.45% of the market share and Facebook follows in second place at 7.79%, up from 5.86% last year.

Twitter, Amazon and Millennial Media also made the top ten companies in terms of digital ad market share worldwide, with the market predicted to grow slightly faster at 16.7 per cent this year.
Meanwhile, Facebook continues to close the gap between itself and Google for the top spot in the mobile ad world. eMarketer predicts Facebook will take 22.3 per cent of the $32.71bn worldwide mobile advertising market this year, up from 17.8 per cent in 2013, and making the platform second after Google.
