McCann Worldgroup has scooped up Salt Lake City-based boede+partners.
The integrated B-to-B and consumer marketing firm will now be called McCann Erickson Salt Lake City. Boede+partners Founder and President Dave Boede will stay on as senior VP of the new offices. No layoffs are planned.
B+p’s client roster consists mainly of technology companies, including Unisys, McAfee, Microsoft, Plantronics and Nokia. A recent global campaign for VeriSign included a new Web site and a redesign of the company’s offices, among other branding elements. The agency’s annual billings are approximately $10 million.
Eric Keshin, regional director of McCann Erickson North America, said in a statement the acquired agency will work closely with McCann Erickson San Francisco.
“Among the reasons that boede+partners has become one of the fastest-growing technology agencies in the country is the quality of their channel marketing strategies and their superb delivery of integrated interactive technology messaging,” said Keshin.
The companies did not disclose terms of the deal.
