A new report carried out by the Interactive Media in Retail Group (IMRG) and Capgemini has revealed that mobile’s share of UK digital retail sales has doubled in the last year, reaching an impressive 23.2% of total digital sales.
As well as this, the number smartphone users visiting online retail sites has grown to 34% in Q2 2013, a significant rise from the same quarter last year.
As more and more people throughout the world embrace smartphone technology to conduct their business online as they go about their busy days, websites and companies must adapt accordingly, ensuring their sites are optimised for mobile and don’t drive users to rival sites.
