ClickZ speaks with marketing director for the global brand about social media initiatives.
Samsung is gearing up its social media efforts for the London Olympics and other digital marketing endeavors this summer. So ClickZ last week caught up with Gail Conroy, Samsung North America’s director of brand and consumer marketing, in order to discover how the global brand views Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
“[Pinterest] is really exploding,” she said. “It will be a good channel for us to engage with consumers.”
We spoke with Conroy after a press junket that promoted Samsung’s NX Series smart camera at New York’s CitiField, home of the New York Mets. Among other topics, in the video below, she discusses why social media is so important to a tech brand nowadays, as well addressing marketing to moms.
