Austin, TX– Since I Can Has Cheezburger? started posting lolcats photos a handful of years ago, the blog has often received more than 1 million page views a day while becoming the hub for an advertising network. After an appearance at South by Southwest Intractieve on Monday, ClickZ pulled Cheezburger Network CEO Ben Huh aside to chat about what his brand advertising clients are up to as well as to get his takes on the surrounding scene.
In the video below, Huh discusses monetization and how his unusual group of web sites – which includes FAIL Blog and Know Your Meme – fits into the digital advertising ecosystem. The CEO also comments on how 2012 ad sales are shaping up so far for his Seattle-based company.
