A survey by Global Web Index has named Tumblr and Pinterest as the fastest growing platforms in their sector. With a 2 per cent per cent increase in active userbase, Facebook came last.
Overtaking Instagram for the title, Tumblr and Pinterest notched up the greatest increase in active users overall, with Tumblr growing 120 per cent over the past six months and Tumblr rising by 111 per cent over the same period.
Despite its rapid rise, Tumblr ranked eighth overall with Facebook remaining firmly at the top.
