Anna Yong, product marketing senior manager at Citrix, explained: “Instagram has 150 million subscribers, while Vine has 40 million subscribers. Therefore, Instagram videos have a larger built-in audience than Vine, and this combined with the larger file size, results in more traffic overall.”The report also highlights the need for many brands to get involved in video advertising rather than focusing purely on image-based ads, revealing that the ratio of mobile subscribers receiving ads with static images versus video-based ads is at 20-1.
