With the acquisition of Bridge Worldwide, the WPP unit gains expertise in online CRM for the healthcare and CPG verticals.
WPP-owned Wunderman has acquired Cincinnati interactive CRM agency Bridge Worldwide. Bridge specializes in the CPG and healthcare verticals, and its clients include Procter & Gamble.
“Bridge Worldwide’s depth of online and healthcare experience complements Wunderman’s, and we both share the same philosophies about the power of customer relationships and online dialog,” Wunderman chairman and CEO Daniel Morel said in a statement.
All 120 of the acquired agency’s employees will be retained, and executives said it will be run as an independent subsidiary. Terms for the deal were not disclosed. Bridge was represented in the acquisition by investment bank AdMedia Partners.
Bridge’s past work for P&G includes a microsite it launched in September highlighting the client’s involvement with the VH1 Save the Music Foundation. The site profiles several students whose lives have been changed by music.
