Amarach Consulting estimates that 370,000 adults had Internet access in Ireland in February of 1999. This represents 14 percent of the adult population, up from 11 percent in July of 1998.

Amarach Consulting estimates that 370,000 adults had Internet access in Ireland in February of 1999. This represents 14 percent of the adult population, up from 11 percent in July of 1998.

According to Amarach, there is a new Internet user in Ireland every 3 minutes and 23 seconds. Amarach also predicts there will be more than 1 million Irish citizens online by 2005.
