Execs & Accounts UK & EU: Adconion, Tribal Fusion, i-level

AdConion branches out to Eastern Europe; Tribal names Brown EU GM; i-level creates emerging platforms role.

Ad network Adconion has announced an exclusive partnership with European network, Goldbach Media Group. Adconion says the partnership will increase its reach by more than 25 percent, and extend it to 10 new markets including Central and Eastern Europe, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, and Russia.

Tribal Fusion has appointed Tim Brown as European general manager. Based in London, Brown will oversee the expansion of the firm’s U.K. business, while also growing the brand across Europe. The company says it hopes to grow its U.K. team five-fold by the end of 2010.

Digital agency i-level has promoted Oliver Newton to the newly created role of head of emerging platforms. The firm says the position has been created in response to client demand for insights into new platforms and how they can be utilized by marketers. Newton is a member of both the IAB Mobile Council and the IAB Video Council.

Consumer financial services group Fairpoint has appointed paid search agency Jellyfish to handle its £3 million paid search marketing account. Jellyfish will be responsible for the purchase of PPC ads and the creation of dedicated landing pages to promote relevant services.
