Razorfish Hooks Carat Man, Monster Boards with SEC Member, Fleishman Locks in Rubbermaid
Interactive marketing services outfit Avenue A Razorfish has hired an ex-Carat Fusion exec, and made additional staff changes. Former Carat Fusion San Francisco VP and Media Director Greg Pomaro has been named VP and director of media at Razorfish in Seattle. David Towers, hailing from Liz Claiborne, will now serve as VP, managing director in Los Angeles. The agency’s National User Experience team will be headed by Garrick Schmitt, former VP of user experience in the San Francisco office.
Monster Worldwide has named former Securities and Exchange Commission member Philip Lochner Jr. as a board member. Lochner served on the SEC from 1990-91, and later became Time Warner Inc.’s SVP and chief administrative officer until retiring in 1998.
Fleishman-Hillard International Communications has been selected as Newell Rubbermaid first global agency of record. The agency’s Atlanta office will manage the Rubbermaid and Goody brand maker’s account.
Intuit will use marketing tech firm Think Partnership’s KowaBunga MyAffiliateProgram product for management and tracking of Quicken and QuickBooks affiliate programs. Think Partnership serves clients including Yahoo Search Marketing and Yamaha.
