Mediabrands buys Spring Creek Group; Chris Allen shifts to new role at Starcom USA, MRM London and Meteorite Merge.
Mediabrands Buys Spring Creek Group. The media holding unit of Interpublic Group will operate the approximately 30-person social media agency as part of its Mediabrands Audience Platform. Spring Creek’s key clients are Microsoft, HTC, US Bank, and LiveNation.
Chris Allen Shifts to New Role at Starcom USA. Allen, previously director of video innovation in the agency’s Chicago office, has transitioned to a new role focused on the television exchange space and addressable advertising.
MRM London and Meteorite Merge. The combined agency, MRM Meteorite, will provide direct-response and interactive marketing services. Its headcount is approximately 160. Roster brands include Vauxhall, Microsoft, and MasterCard.
