Coca-Cola named number 1 brand on Facebook

In a study conducted by Statistica and Mashable, Coca-Cola has been recognised as the most talked-about brand on Facebook, well ahead of Avon and Walmart, who came in second and third.

In a study conducted by Statistica and Mashable, Coca-Cola has been recognised as the most talked-about brand on Facebook, well ahead of Avon and Walmart, who came in second and third.

Successful past campaigns such as the ‘Share a Coke’  idea, the ‘Coca Cola Happiness Machine’ and the digital ‘Coke Polar Bowl’, which saw two polar bears react to events on the Super Bowl 2012 pitch in real time, have allowed the brand to rack up a supportive followership over time, and it is no wonder Coke’s pipped other corporate brands to the post at number one.
