A new report by digital marketing company Kenshoo Social has revealed that companies who utilise Facebook adverts to spread their brand’s message have experienced an increase in all advertising metrics, including click-through-rates (CTR) and conversions.
Kenshoo Social, which works with hundreds of customers that advertise with the social media giant, including Ticketmaster, Sears and CareerBuilder, explored over 75 billion Facebook ads across the last two quarter and found evidence that click through rates had improved by 18.5% in Q2 over Q1. As well as this, Facebook ads aimed at driving revenues were up by almost 30%, and conversions were up by a huge 56.9%.
Facebook’s improved efforts to optimise its ad units, coupled with advertisers improved sophistication at targeting more appropriate audiences, are being heralded as the main reasons for the marked improvement.
Commenting on the news was Kenshoo Social’s senior director of product marketing, Todd Herrold, who said: “Advertisers are finding success using Facebook ads to drive toward their direct marketing goals, most importantly conversions and revenue.”
With 33 million monthly active users and 24 million daily users, many companies are naturally looking to take advantage of the potential consumer base that Facebook offers.
