The latest survey on Internet use in Hungary found the online population of that nation to be in the 550,000 to 600,000 range. That is up from 254,000 in 1998.

The latest survey on Internet use in Hungary found the online population of that nation to be in the 550,000 to 600,000 range. That is up from 254,000 in 1998.
According to these numbers, approximtely 6 percent of Humngary’s population is online. The study was edited by Andras Nyiro and Laszlo Turi, and estimates that 100,000 people use the Internet at least once a day in Hungary, and 150,000 use it at least once a week.
