Is it a bird? No, it's a flying Jaguar

Perhaps providing a glimpse into the future of London's airspace, a flying Jaguar flew across the capital to promote the launch of the British car-maker's latest efforts in a cool aviation stunt.

Perhaps providing a glimpse into the future of London’s airspace, a flying Jaguar flew across the capital to promote the launch of the British car-maker’s latest efforts in a cool aviation stunt.

Onlookers bemused by the flying automobile took to Twitter to assess whether their sighting was a shared phenomenon – or a hallucination.

The stunt is part of a (reportedly) £4m launch event for the new model – which included music from the Kaiser Chiefs, Emeli Sandé at Earls Court, London.

Sadly the flying object was neither a pig, nor was it chitty chitty bang bang, rather the stunt was part of a marketing push for the new Jaguar ‘baby’ XE sports car.
