#XmasJammies video goes viral as family shows brands how it's done
OK, so it may seem a little cringeworthy in parts, but the Holderness family video, a modern take on the annual Christmas card, which features Kim, Penn, Lola and Penn Charles Holderness rocking out to their own version of Will Smith’s Welcome to Miami, has already racked up more than 7 million YouTube hits in a week.
OK, so it may seem a little cringeworthy in parts, but the Holderness family video, a modern take on the annual Christmas card, which features Kim, Penn, Lola and Penn Charles Holderness rocking out to their own version of Will Smith’s Welcome to Miami, has already racked up more than 7 million YouTube hits in a week.
Despite the meanies at the Metro branding it (rather cruelly, in our opinion) ‘the worst festive videoever‘, we think it’s kind of cute, and shows that all companies really need to do at wintertime is don some matching outfits, show off about their achievements, and sing and dance to a popular 90s song. Then again, maybe that tactic will only work with a good-looking family…
Though the video may seem like a cute and innocent family video, it was actually created in part to plug the parents’ new video production company, the Greenroom, which itself is looking to jump aboard the content marketing craze by helping brands produce videos to draw in consumers. Nicely done, Holderness family marketing team!
