ANA Airlines deploy digital “Take Off Mode” to ease anxiety

As the aviation industry continues its foray into digital consumer engagement, ANA Airlines has created an app called “Take Off Mode” intended to distract and soothe nervous fliers.

As the aviation industry continues its foray into digital consumer engagement, ANA Airlines has created an app called “Take Off Mode” intended to distract and soothe nervous fliers.

The soothing game experience created in partnership with ANA’s digital partner firstborn NY is complete with an accelerometre that makes the game react during take-off, and a number of simple and distracting games.

The growing digital drive comes as the industry exploits the newly unrestricted rules surrounding digital devices during takeoff and landing.
