European Internet users averaged 16.5 days online in the month of April, according to research released by comScore Networks.
The U.K. population is found to be the most active online. It represents the highest average number of daily visitors with 21.8 million. Across Europe, Internet users average 16.5 usage days per month. Internet users in the U.K. average 21 days per month, and 34.4 hours time spent per month.

Germany accounts for the largest online population, with 32.6 million Internet users over the age 15. The Netherlands and Scandinavian countries have the highest usage by percentage of their populations, with penetration between 68 percent and 83 percent in the various individual countries. An average user in Sweden views 4,019 Internet pages per month.
European countries where Internet users spent fewer days online each month include Russia (11.4 average usage days); Austria (12 usage days); Italy (12.9 usage days); Ireland (13 usage days); Portugal (13.4 usage days); Norway (14.7 usage days); Denmark (14.7 usage days); Switzerland (15.1 usage days); Belgium (15.5 usage days); and Finland (16.4 usage days).
The study compares Internet activity across the 16 countries where comScore tracks Internet usage with panel-based measurement.
