Foot prints: Adidas app to print favourite Instagram pic on trainers

Set for release in August, the sports brand ‘Adidas Photo Print’ app will be used to print images from Instagram onto the ZX Flux trainer - tapping into the hyper-personalisation marketing trend.

Adidas is letting fans walk the streets in their favourite memories, with a new app launch.

Set for release in August, the sports brand ‘Adidas Photo Print’ app will be used to print images from Instagram onto the ZX Flux trainer – tapping into the hyper-personalisation marketing trend via a social media site.

In a post on the sportswear brand’s Instagram site, Adidas said: “Print your favourite photos straight on to one of 2014’s hottest silhouettes and make a statement on your sneakers like never before… the possibilities are endless.”

The new app has also been promoted via a montage clip, hosted on Instagram.

The Adidas Photo Print app is set for release on iPhone and Android.
