Despite worries that luxury brands wouldn’t embrace social media as quickly as others, bosses behind Jaguar have proved that both style and digital marketing can mix, unveiling a social media campaign to promote excitement for their new F-TYPE Coupé.
Initially revealed in LA on 19th November, fans can now check out the new model across all of Jaguar’s social media sites, although getting access to the image isn’t quite as simple as it sounds…
According to The Drum, the new #FromTheShadows media campaign, created with We Are Social, allows fans desperate to see the new model come across a a ‘secret dark room’ with the hidden image, and will only be able to unlock it by entering a secret code concealed within some of Jaguar’s teaser assets, and revealed by certain ‘insider’ online sites.
The campaign is active across Jaguar’s Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Google+ channels, with a #FromTheShadows Tumblr blog recently launched to bring all the #FromTheShadows content into one place for car-lovers around the world.
