UK satellite broadcasting, broadband and telephone services company Sky has employed the use of national treasure Joanna Lumley for its latest campaign promoting its TV box set service.
The ads, which are to run throughout october, will see Lumley impersonate characters from famous TV shows, such as Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead.
Created in partnership with Brothers and Sisters, the ads announce the availability of new TV box sets on demand in the form of Sky’s set-top box and Sky Go service.
Luke Bradley-Jones, Sky’s brand director of TV Products, says: “We know how important it is for our customers to have the flexibility to watch the shows everyone is talking about when it suits them.
“That’s why this autumn we are introducing more TV series to our TV Box Set service, to ensure we have Box Sets of the latest and greatest shows ready for customers to catch up on whenever they want.”
