Londoners, fancy a free cab ride with Heineken?

Heineken has teamed up with Star Cabs to offer lucky punters a stagger-free ride across London – all you need to do is buy a pint and download an app.

The beer brand has partnered with 30 bars across the capital who will offer consumers a complimentary branded wallet with every pint of Heineken. The wallet will encourage punters to download the Star Cabs app for the chance to win a ride to ‘unlock’ hidden locations across London.

Andrew Turner, on-trade category and trade marketing director at Heineken UK, commented: “As part of our commitment to helping our trade customers to grow their business, we constantly strive to engage consumers with our brands, but also drive footfall and sales in outlet.

“The ‘Star Cabs’ project showcases both the premium experiences that choosing Heineken can unlock and the wide variety of exciting outlets in London where Heineken is available.”

Heineken has also recently launched its social tool @wherenext, designed to “unlock the secrets of their city” by providing helpful suggestions on the best bars, restaurants and café’s based on users locations.
