Following in the footsteps of fellow fast-food giant KFC, McDonalds has enlisted the help of digital experts to promote its latest menu offers, launching a new interactive online game and social media campaign to drum up excitement for the products.
Following in the footsteps of fellow fast-food giant KFC, McDonald’s has enlisted the help of digital experts to promote its latest menu offers, launching a new interactive online game and social media campaign to drum up excitement for the products.
TV ads promoting a return of the classic ‘1955 burger’ have been launched alongside a social media campaign created by agency Razorfish that emphasises a theme of nostalgia to remember “where it all began”. The digital campaign will run on YouTube, McDonalds’ own website and Facebook.
As well as this, McDonald’s has launched the ‘Super Spice Dash’, a new interactive online game that runs across PC, Mac, tablet and smartphone. Also created by Razorfish, the game hopes to appeal to younger audiences and encourage consumers to buy the new Spicy McBites.
