An inspired new #HackTheSale promotion from Norwegian retail company OnePiece is encouraging social media fans to exclaim their love of onesies to the world, and is rewarding them for their efforts.
Developed by Harkable, every time a customer shares the #HackTheSale app on Facebook and Twitter, the cost of a Lusekofte Onesie, which starts at £139, will be driven down. As I type, social media lovers have already slashed the price to £136.40… so a little more sharing needs to be done to reach the minimum price of £39.
Each customer who takes part in the campaign will be emailed the final price of the onesie and a link to the online store, so all participants will share in the cheap comfy joy of a discounted onesie.
Simple but effective, the campaign ensures potential customers feel connected to the offer, sharing it with their social media contacts and encouraging them too to drive down the price for a mutually beneficial goal.
Ole Fjelberg, president and partner at OnePiece Jump, told BrandRepublic : “It’s exciting to launch a campaign which is solely social. People collaborating together to get a good offer for everyone by giving us value in the form of awareness. It’s a win-win.”
