Trucks just ain’t good enough anymore it seems, as reports circulate that the number one brand on Facebook is set to launch a new ad that promotes good deeds and Christmas merriment as part of this season’s marketing push.
The soft drinks company’s much-loved ‘Holidays are Coming’ TV ad ran alongside the TV debut of John Lewis’ last Saturday during ITV’s ‘The X Factor’, but featured one marked, digitally-marketing friendly difference; an added #holidaysarecoming hashtag!
The new ‘Shooting Star’ campaign is to air on the 23 November to an Elvis soundtrack, and features the classic Coca-Cola Father Christmas, among others, carrying out acts of kindness during the holiday season.
On-pack and social media promotions will also be launched, with the Truck‘s own Twitter followers set to swell as the snowy season approaches. As well as this, the Coca-Cola Christmas truck will be going on tour, accompanied with a dedicated hub set up on CokeZone to inform fans of its next location.
