Taco Bell’s latest ad, Routine Republic, has launched a Cold War meets Hunger Games-esque mutiny against McDonald’s breakfast monopoly.
The surreal and entertaining segment has pointed a fully-loaded advertising barrel at McDonald’s, with the infamous imagery of the fast food chain reimagined as a dark and murky dictatorship.
The three-minute dystopic centerpiece tells the story of an oppressed proletariat revolting against the monotony of breakfast that they’re subjected to as part of their prison sentence to uniformity.
We at .rising think this is one of the best ads we’ve seen in a while, what do you think?
