European sports fashion brand Björn Borg is ditching marketing convention – presenting their Spring Summer 2015 collection not through a commercial, fashion ad or even a lookbook – but through an online game.
The game introduces a new platform for e-commerce; in-game shopping, in an impressively sophisticated style.
The move marks a fashion first, with the free online gaming platform reflecting the company’s mission for more love, less hate.

The game lets the player equip their character with the new Björn Borg collection and fight the forces of evil with the power of love. Equipped with a love glove, you master your enemies with a range of weapons –from a holographic kiss blower to a flower petal thrower.
“We want to offer gamers and shoppers a whole new experience,” comments Lina Söderqvist, Marketing Director, Björn Borg.
The First Person Lover Game is free of charge and is launched on January 28th 2015 at firstpersonlover.com.
The game is part of a campaign concept developed by Garbergs Advertising Agency, spanning over everything from a fashion show to the First Person Lover game and print campaign.
